An IoT enabled smart ac controller which can be given control of all the features of AC over Compact and Elegant device, Mobile App, and Web dashboard. The solution was developed for Spaces having Centralize AC. Therefore the standard solution is not the ideal solution to control ac temperature, wing modes, etc. The device had magnets and also be able to mount on the wall.
The client is well established from Germany who manufactures the AC and wanted this Next IoT device to be a part of their upcoming Centralize AC products. They were very technical and detailed research about the product and its possibilities. They wanted in the future this device can also be used from Smart Speakers which is phase 2 of the project.
After discussing a few times the client had shown us the actual Centralize AC working and process of installation. As the device which we were making for the client needed to be connected with the Actual Centralize system. After understanding those points team was able to conclude on the design and functionality we can provide.
The most important task for us was to make the device to be controlled via BLE/WiFi at the same time and having some callback mechanism to update status depending on the action. Also, we needed to create an ACK (Acknowledgment mechanism) which can revert whether the action is completed to not. In case of an action not completed we handled several exceptions to inform the user about the issue also we have recorded the same expectation in the backend for the Support team.
